This KS-1 is one (1) of ten (10) unique rifle kits; built and donated specifically for a fundraising event through the Hunter Seven Foundation. All proceeds were dedicated to help support funding for his family as well as a new cellular immunotherapy the treatment known as Tumor-Infiltrating Lymphocyte (Til) therapy. This therapy is only offered in the united states by a very small number of specialized hospitals. Ultimately leaving Erlend and his family with an out-of-pocket cost estimated to exceed $500,000.
These specific KS-1 kits are unique, built to honor the service and sacrifice of Erlend Grey. Most notably, the KS-1 features a white Cerakote; a striking tribute to Erlend's experience in artic warfare and exploration. Alongside the color, a crest designed by C. Reed Knight III, is featured on the front-face of the magwell; a homage to Erlend's Norse heritage, a warfighters spirit. The kit also features a black MCQ-1 suppressor with a white Cerakote suppressor shroud. Atop the rifle rests a Reptilia scope mount with Reptilia Aimpoint ACRO P-2 red dot mount in white Cerakote. Accompanying the mount is a black Vortex AMG 1-10x24 LPV. The final additions to this kit include a white Viking Tactics sling, and a Grey Ghost Gear rifle bag in Grey.
